Before he passed away Willy Ronis wished to see his work exhibited in Paris in celebration of his one hundredth birthday. Today, to honor his wish, the Musée de la Monnaie is showing about 150 of his photographs, some famous, others unpublished to this date.

Organized by the Fondation Pierre Berger and the Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, this is the first comprehensive retrospective of Yves Saint Laurent’s work. 307 pieces taken from his haute couture and prêt-à-porter collections, ranging from his early days at Dior in 1958 to his final collection of evening gowns in 2002, will be on display. Films and photographs illustrating Yves Saint Laurent’s 40 years of creation within its historical context will complete this exhibition.
