“In the game of love, getting there is three-quarters of the fun. Or so the French would have us believe, in a literary tradition that dates back to the 17th century, when Louis XIV, no prude himself, founded the Paris Opera Ballet. This kind of formalized courtship is the updated subject of “Le Parc,” a visually stunning work by Angelin Preljocaj, a genuine experimental choreographer.” Anna Kisselgoff.
Le Parc was created in 1994 for the Ballet de l’Opéra National de Paris.
